Alligator Man

Into the swamps

an amphibian man

people saw him crawling

but he could walk on his two legs too

In the water he was like home

swimming and grabbing fish

and birds and other mammals

with his sharp teeth

Someone said his skin has turned

grey and thick and so bloody cold

his eyes yellow, serpentine

and he could breath

beneath the surface of water

They accused him of eating a child

after capturing the poor little kid

while fishing

They hunt him and they shoot at him

somebody said he got him but

no evidence were to be found

He was never seen again

but some nights in the swamps

many heard a song

by a voice human almost

the voice of the alligator man

who was found and raised by the caimans

and rulled the swampy waters

until people hunt him for no reason

-the boy was killed by his stepdad.
