Out from the sea they came
who were they, what were they
no one will ever know
lungs and gills they had
like men and fish and frogs they looked
they killed the fishermen of this little village
the port was all bloody and red
I saw them taking the women and children to the deep
where their marine capital they had built
I saw their faces, those grey-green terrifying faces
disgusting and sleek
the flippers on thei backs, their membranous limbs
beware of the sea for the children of Leviathan still live
and from time to time they emerge to seek what
their own was meant to be
